HOW DOES AUCTIONSNG WORK?

AuctionsNg is an online auction Platform that offers Vendors and Users (Large Corporates, MSMEs and Individuals) the ability to list items and bid for items in an auction format.
All participants (Vendors and Users) on AuctionsNg are required to create their personal accounts and in some cases, would be required to have a subscription.

Vendors would have the ability to list items for auctions while users would have the ability to bid for the listed items
Vendors and Users alike are notified via Email of activities that affect their items and bids respectively. Such activities include but are not limited to bids by other users on the same items, remaining time to close the auction, etc.

At the conclusion of each auction, the winner is notified of the winning bid amount and steps to make payment.
Payment made by the winner is kept in Escrow which is an additional service provided by AuctionsNg. The money will only be released to the Vendor after the winner receives and approves the items purchased. This helps in protecting the buyer.

HOW DO I REGISTER AS A USER?

  1. From Auctionsng’s homepage, click sign in

2. Enter all required information, then click register

 

 

HOW DO I REGISTER AS A VENDOR?

  1. From Auctionsng’s homepage, click sign in

2.  Click become a vendor

3. Enter the required details

  1. enter your email address. A validation code will be sent to your email address.
  2. copy the validation code and the space provided
  3. enter your store name
  4. enter your store phone number
  5. enter your password
  6. confirm your password
  7. read and agree to the terms and conditions
  8.  click register

4.  select a subscription plan

5. Provide your billing information, select a payment method, accept the terms and conditions then click place order.

HOW DO I FOLLOW A VENDOR?

  1. From Auctionsng’s homepage, click vendors

2. Identify the vendor you want to follow and click visit

3.  Then click follow

HOW DO I BUY BID CREDITS?

  1. From Auctionsng’s homepage, click My Account (you must be logged in already)

2.  From the menu, select My Dashboard

3.  then select MT Subscription

4.  you should now see a list of available subscription plans, select one by clicking add to cart

5.  the view basket button should now appear, click view basket

6.  provide your billing information, select a payment method, read and accept the terms and                conditions then click place order

HOW DO I CHECK MY BID CREDIT BALANCE?

  1. From Auctionsng’s homepage, place your mouse over My Account (you must already be logged in)

and your bid credit balance and subscription expiry date would be displayed

HOW DO I PLACE A BID?

  1. Click to open the product you want to bid on (you must be logged in to place a bid)

the product page would show you the following information

    1.  current bid or starting bid of the item
    2.  time remaining for the auction to end
    3. details of the product with specific contacts, terms and conditions
    4. bidding activity showing all bids registered
    5. bid credit required to participate in the auction
    6. this shows the minimum next bid value. you can either bid this value or more. click bid to register your bid

2.   a popup will appear showing you the amount of bid credit to be deducted from your account.  Click OK to confirm your bid.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD

  1. Log in to your account

2. Select account details

3.  follow the steps below and provide the requested information

  1. enter your current password
  2. enter your new password
  3. enter your new password again
  4. click save changes and your password is changed

       

HOW DO I RECOVER LOST PASSWORD

  1. From Auctionsng’s homepage, click sign in

2. under the login section, click lost your password

3.  enter your username or email address and click reset password. You will receive a link to create a new password via email
